Established in May 2000, Kids Capers is registed with Ofsted to provide care for 37 children aged between 6 months and 5 years, from 7.30 am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year.

Kids Capers is in close proximity to a selection of shops, schools and parks, including Tilgate Park known for its farm and lake.  As appropriate, these places are used to enhance the children’s learning.

The nursery has two base rooms, the Rainbow room and the Sunshine room.  Each room has the benefit of having access to its own outside play area.  Outdoor play is a great way in which the children can learn about the world around them and develop their physical skills.

 

Environment

On entering our nursery you will find a friendly, happy, safe, stimulating and loving environment where children feel valued and appreciated.  This enables them to develop the skills to become competent, lifelong learners.  Outside there are large, secure play areas, which are solely for the use of the nursery. Our free flow system allows children to enjoy unrestricted outdoor play and thus benefit from being in the fresh air.

 

Features

You will see our nursery is equipped and decorated with children in mind. The base rooms benefit from plenty of natural light; they are colourful, bright and spacious and have specified areas which allow children to take part in a variety of child or adult initiated activities. This allows children to learn with enjoyment and challenge, while developing socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and creatively.
